 After a career as an industrial firm holder, Claude Fusco Karmann has been a member of the staff of the Italian League Against Cancer of Milan since 1984.
She is in charge of Volunteers and Care Departments, beside being joint-manager of the Volunteers’ Training School. She is also member of the evaluation committee for therapeutic correctness of the National Cancer Institute in Milan, founder member of the European Association for Palliative Care, secretary for the Steering Committee of the Onlus Palliative Care Federation, and advisor of Paradigma – a Psychological Training School in Oncology.
